San Juan Skijoring was founded in 2017 under the Ouray County Rodeo Association. Our goal was to bring the winter sport of Western Skijoring to Ouray County during the slower winter months. SJS strives to provide an excellent event for not only our competitors but our spectators as well, while boosting the economy in our community. SJS is excited to continue building our local event and is constantly looking for ways to give back to our community, such as contributing to local scholarships.
